Fostering queer community through Rock climbing

PHLash is a community-based, peer-led group that aims to bring together LGBTQIA+ individuals to climb and socialize. We host monthly meetups at Philadelphia-area climbing gyms, including Tufas, The Cliffs, as well as occasional trips to nearby outdoor climbing areas. We also collaborate with other East Coast queer climbing groups like DC’s Capital Climbers and New York’s Crux Climbing on larger meetups throughout the region. PHLash’s mission is advocate for queer voices in the greater rock climbing community and to provide a safe and inclusive space for all.
